GRAND KNIGHT'S MESSAGE
Dear Brothers, Our most important agenda for the March meeting was our pledge to the Foundation of the Apostles Building Fund. I challenged you for months that we were going to pledge to help build OUR church. We participated as individuals by going to receptions, hosting receptions and also being leaders of the receptions. We prayed on our pledge and we deliberated as brothers, and I commend you for that. I thank Fr. Yves for coming and participating in our meeting. He was very beneficial to our meeting. and the ultimate goal was reached by all. I am proud to say as Grand Knight that we voted unanimously to pledge $50,000 to the Foundation of the Apostles Building Fund. I thank God and you, brothers, for a great job in reaching our sacrificial pledge amount. We had a busy month as DGK Nick wrote in his report, but I have to touch on two events that are going to be used toward our pledge. We had great Fish Fry dinners which were chaired by Bob Laquerre. With Life Teen, we accomplished a superb event. Our Golf Tournament was incredible with Kevin Moor as our chairman. With God as our chairman we can accomplish all of our goals. I thank all of you who supported us this year. We are not finished with this year, we are just slowing down and catching our breaths. May God bless you and be your Easter. What a glorious month March was for all of us. We deepened our faith and strengthened our Brotherhood. As the month came to an end, we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Many thanks go out to Hope, Carl and all the Knights who helped out. It was a joy to see the happy and excited faces of our little ones. After all, they are the future of our Parish. As April 1st came, we not only celebrated Palm Sunday, but also it was our “Ninth Annual Golf Tournament”. Kevin, Mimi and Dart worked very hard to make this event successful, and it absolutely was. I am very thankful and appreciative to them and everyone else who volunteered. We all had a great time. As Holy week came, Fr. Andy and Fr. Yves brought us closer to our Lord. They prepared us for the sacrifices that Jesus made for us. It is a true testament of Jesus’ love for everyone. I want to thank Fr. Andy and Fr. Yves fior always inspiring us to have a stronger faith. May God continue to bless you and your families. Your Brother Knight, Nick Alessandria

Let's support our Columbiettes and have an enjoyable evening of dinner and dancing! Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Columbiette Auxiliary 12376 is hosting a Charity Dinner Dance on Friday, May 4, 2007, from 7pm-11pm at the Poinciana Country Club, Lake Worth. There will be a buffet dinner, cash bar and a DJ all for the price of $30 per person. Appropriate dinner attire is required.
