Dear Brother Knights,

August has been a very quiet month for us. 
I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer.

On September 23, we will be sponsoring a Chili Cook-off at the church from 12:30-2:30 p.m.  We are still in need of someone to chair this event.  If you are interested, please contact Tony Perry.  Your help is very much appreciated.

Ticket sales for the lottery are underway.  Please return your purchased tickets to Bill.  If you are not purchasing any of the tickets, please return them to Bill as well.  We would like to give others the opportunity to purchase the additional tickets.  With everyone's participation, we should be able to reach our goal of 100% in sales.  I would like to thank Bill for taking on this responsibility.  You are doing a great job.

The resolution to pay $10,000 toward our pledge goal of $50,000 for the Foundation of the Apostles New Church Building Fund was voted on and passed at the July General meeting.

The recipient must be a practicing Catholic of the Palm Beach Diocese and a child, grandchild or sibling of a member in good standing of the K of C. The recipient must be accepted as a full time student at a Catholic grammar school, high school or college and be enrolled in the school year immediately following award notification of the scholarship.
