Dear Brother Knights,

     Our next meeting will be held on November 19th at Festival Hall at 7:30 p.m. and not on November 26, as originally scheduled. On November 17, we will begin our ―Keep Christ in Christmas‖ card sale. These cards will be available after all masses. Thank you to Bert for your hard work and dedication to this fundraiser. The Blitz Membership drive has been rescheduled to November 17 and 18. Please mark your calendars and wear you K of C shirts.

On Monday, December 3, there will be a rosary at the Church at 7:30 p.m. for Our Lady of Charity. We are hoping to have a large turnout for this special event. There will be another rosary on Wednesday, December 12, at 7:00 p.m. for Respect Life. ―There are so many ways in which pro-life people work so hard… that there’s a need to be rooted in Christ for the struggle.‖ Please come and support this cause.

Because of the upcoming holidays, our December meeting will be held on the 17th. At 7:00 p.m., we will have a brief meeting and then our Christmas party to follow. Also on December 15, we will have our Breakfast with Santa Claus from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thank you to John and Mindy Simpson for organizing this event.

On December 22, there will be a Christmas Party for the children at Palms West Hospital. Santa will be visiting with the children from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. On the same day, there will be a Christmas Party at Veteran’s Hospital from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Please join us in these worthy events. I would like to thank Joe and Lynn April for your time and efforts for our children and veterans.

Lastly, I would like to wish you and your families a happy, healthy and safe Christmas and New Year. May God’s grace and mercy be with all of us.

The recipient must be a practicing Catholic of the Palm Beach Diocese and a child, grandchild or sibling of a member in good standing of the K of C. The recipient must be accepted as a full time student at a Catholic grammar school, high school or college and be enrolled in the school year immediately following award notification of the scholarship.

We had our annual Spelling Bee last month, thanks to our brother Steve Autenrieb for chairing this event. In the 5th/6th grade category 1st place went to Justin Mangano, and 2nd place to Nora Shirey. In the 7th/8th grade category the winner was Christopher Fils-Aime. Congratulations to all the participants, you are all winners..
