GRAND
KNIGHT'S MESSAGE |
Dear Brother Knights,
As many events are upon us, I would like to remind you of several important dates. On Thursday, October 25, there will be a mass at 7:30 p.m. to honor Father Andy, Father Yves, and Father Vijay in celebration of 125 years of priesthood. Also, we will be remembering Father Michael McGivney during this liturgy.
Some other important dates to remember are as follows:
November 1, 2007 All Saints Day
November 2, 2007 All Souls Day - mass at 7:30 p.m.
November 3/4, 2007 - Blitz Membership Drive after all Masses. Please Brother Knights, wear your KofC shirt. November 8, 9, 10, and 11 Fall Festival
November 11, 2007 Veteran’s Day
November 17/18, 2007 “Keep Christ in Christmas” card sale and tickets will be sold for Breakfast with Santa after all Masses.
The K of C are in charge of selling tickets for the 50/50 raffle at the Fall Festival. If you are interested in selling tickets during a two hour shift, please call me at 798-6321. We need all of the help we can get. Also, the officers meeting has be rescheduled to November 19 instead of November 12. It will be held 7:30 p.m. at Festival Hall.
This year we are hoping to increase our membership. Everyone is encouraged to bring in a new member. With the intercession of Father McGivney, I know we will bring our order to a new level of growth.
Your Grand Knight,
Nick Alessandria |

Brothers,
I want to say “thank you” to the many that helped with our Chili Cook-off. It was great to see so many of you and other members of our Parish family enjoying themselves. Also thanks to our Past Grand Knight, Brother Bert Lanctot and his wife Diane for once again holding the Living Rosary which followed the Blue Mass on October 3rd. It was beautiful. A special thanks as well to Arlene Laquerre and the choir for providing the beautiful music.
There are many upcoming events on our calendar, so please help us where you can, and we will see you out there.
Thank you,
Tony Perry |
