Dear Brother Knights,
Where has the year gone! I would like to give a special thank you to all of the past
officers. You worked very hard and helped me continuously. I am very proud to have had
the opportunity to work with each of you.
The Past Grand Knight Dinner was on June 6, and I am very grateful to everyone who
attended. It was a fantastic evening.
This year was extremely busy, yet very successful. We had many individuals who made
sacrifices and who were committed to our council and parish. Without them, we could not
have accomplished what we did. Thank you to all of those individuals who chaired an event
from the Pasta nights, Lotto, Chili Cook-off, Living Rosary, Keep Christ in Christmas,
Membership Blitz, Basketball Free Throw, Breakfast with Santa, visits to sick children
and veterans, Christmas Party, By-laws, Easter Egg Hunt, Handicapped Citizens Drive, and
the Golf Tournament. I sincerely appreciate your time and efforts.
We helped many individuals, and this would not have been possible without you. I would
like to recognize Carl for taking care of our website, and Jack for bartending each
event. You guys did a great job.
Congratulations to the new officers that were elected to serve in 2008-2009. I know it
will be an awesome year.
Thank you to my fellow Brothers for allowing me to serve as your Grand Knight. It was a
year that I will always remember.

Reach out to the new men in our Parish and make sure they are aware of the Knights of Columbus.
I want to express my thanks to everyone who supported our Council this past year in so many different ways. We are all given different gifts and abilities, and the amount of time and support any one of us can give at any particular time can vary. But this is what makes an organization strong: the many and varied contributions. The brothers who always devote 100% of their time and talents should be highly praised: you are indispensible. But I also would like to recognize those brothers who perhaps were not able to contribute at that level, yet still made an effort to support us where they could. It takes everyone's help to make an organization like Knights of Columbus work.
For me personally it was a pleasure to serve this past year as Deputy Grand Knight. I learned many things and got to know many of you much better. Looking to the future, I think the Council's selection for Grand Knight was an outstanding choice, and with a strong cadre of officers behind him, Dan and Council 12376 will be able to achieve many great things in the coming year. The recipient must be a practicing Catholic of the Palm Beach Diocese and a child,
grandchild or sibling of a member in good standing of the K of C. The recipient must be
accepted as a full time student at a Catholic grammar school, high school or college and
be enrolled in the school year immediately following award notification of the
scholarship
